Turf Facts |
|
Our putting greens are manufactured with the most advanced synthetic turfs available on the market today. They are made from both durable UV-treated polypropylene and nylon fiber and specifically designed to simulate a natural grass putting surface. We offer you a full line of quality turfs to select at the lowest prices available. All turfs will expand and contract to some degree
depending on temperature conditions. |

| Nylon putting greens are our most popular putting greens. The fibers have memory and spring back to their original upright position after usage and resist matting down. Nylon turfs are much denser than polypropylene turfs and do not require sand filling. Nylon putting greens do not require any maintenance after installation. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Polypropylene is an excellent long lasting turf that simulates a natural putting surface. Polypropylene turfs require sand fill. Sand is spread across the top of the surface and then brushed in with a broom, to get between the fibers, so that the fibers stand up straight. When you stroke the ball, it will roll on the tips of the fibers, making for a true roll to the cup. The more sand you add, the faster the putting green, the less you add, the slower the putting green. Polypropylene turf is what you need if you are hitting wedge shots from outside of 15 yards. If not, you really don't need a sand-filled putting green. |
